(Solved) - Auto Restart???

OK ... My friends Computer is for no reason when playing World of Warcraft or Left 4 Dead is Restarting .... we Replaced the Graphics Card and the Memory ... The graphics card prolonged the restart but ultimately didn't fix the problem. The memory didn't change anything. Please help!

All that comes to mind given what you've mentioned is overheating or your power supply.

Its common for systems to overheat when gaming.

Here is an article that gives more information:

both programs mentioned are good and have been around for years. I've used both.

I would look at overheating before I tried to track down any problems with the power supply.

It isn't an over heating problem ... check the temps they are all fine =(

Ok. I would look at the power supply.
I usually swap out one that works to test - power supply problems are hard to pin down.

We have found that many people playing Left 4 dead are having the same problem ... we now think it's something to do with L4D not sure how to fix it
