Getting my first taste of online bidding,bunch of cutthroats at U bid,lol.My roommate wants a laptop for around $300.00 U.S,well I don't know.Does anyone know of any good tips at this game?

You could also check a site like http://www.deals2buy.com

They often have really great deals on new or refurbished stuff.
