i need to know how to install a particular open source software in linux in a single directory
e,g i want to install open source software asterisk1.8 in my ubuntu 12.04 OS in a single directory 'myastersiksetups' under my home directory
i know that when asterisk is completly installed it makes installation in different directory such as
