Hi! New to the forum and have a very simple ?.

I am trying to covert a MS Excel spreadsheet to ASCII File Tab Delimited Format. In trying to save as such, in the drop down menu ONLY (Text) Tab Delimited is an option. Is this what I need to accomplish task? Will extension for saved file be .txt once I save? Thanks for the reply.

Do you mean ASCII code or ASCII representation?

'A' = 'x41', ASCII representation = ASCII code number.

Should be readable TEXT in a .TXT file, go ahead, give it a try, but it will be in readable format, not true ASCII code.
