Archiving an over quota email inside MS Outlook 2010

Hi,
I'm running my MS Outlook 2010 email application under Win7 Ultimate. One of my email accounts blew-up and surpassed its allowed volume qouta. I hoped to be able to archive this account and afterwars, to delete obselete messages. Unfortunately, Outlook doesn't let me do it. Looks like I'm required to bring my account back to full activity (be deleting extra messages), and only afterwards will I be able to run archive.
Is there a way to run a complete archive will in a state of over qouata?

HI , if you have many accounts as u said , try to create a temporary new folder in another account , and move a part of your emails located in the overquoated one there and then archive it. Once the archive is finished , remove them from the temporary one to the archive.
