Just thought I would remind everyone it's April Fools Day and to keep an eye on what you read today as some things can be a joke.
Also for anyone who wants to see many of the jokes online there are many listed at http://aprilfoolsdayontheweb.com/2008.html

Edit:
Funny ones I like so far:
ThinkGeek - Fake Product List
Virgle: The Adventure of Many Lifetimes

Thanks for the heads-up JD. Do you know any magician's tricks you care to expose too? How do they always know the card I hold or saw that lady in half?

Where were you last year to warn me of this, http://www.google.com/tisp/ before I went out and tried to buy it?

I always check the current day in Wikipedia for the list of jokes... this page changes throughout the day.

I deleted the posts because I'm not gonna tolerate that type of behavior.

This forum is supposed to be about helping people that need help, and enjoying some geek related stuff with the other regulars. Those posts were neither and just crossed the line, and irritated a number of people who contacted me privately about it.

it was quite annoying, but if you reply to those kind of posters, they do continue annoying everyone, so it's better to just ignore them.

I can't believe it. I just got fooled even knowing what day it was.
I was going though a list of web sites I had open and found Ed Bott's blog.
I looked and saw a blog post about MaxWin.
It wasn't until I saw April 1st at the end I realized it was an April fools joke.
It had just seemed like a normal post with a few mistakes.
