App Expose Problem???

I have a macbook pro 13 inch 2.3 ghz with os x mountain lion. When i opened up preview, i saw a lot of files showing up in the app expose. How do we remove the files from expose? I even deleted those files from my MBP, but it is still showing the file as a thumbnail. I even have a screenshot, but i dont know how to upload it on this post....Please help.

Here is the screenshot. Sry for the delay. This list shows up in the expose everytime when I open preview. Not only that, I forgot to mention earlier that this type of list also shows up if I open vlc media player and I just want to get rid of the list, but not the files........
