We have a APC Smart UPS 2200 installed for power failures. we recently purchased a network management card to allow all our servers connected to the UPS to do a controlled shutdown unsupervised. we have installed the software that comes with the management card but cant seem to get it setup. anyone knows if we need to buy software to do this? we running server2003, the network management card has a web interface and everything is setup there. is it possible to use the software that came with the management card or do i have to purchase more software from the makers of APC UPS.

gecko29,
Welcome to The HTG Forums.
I suggest you have a (serious) meeting with all vendors and force them to give you a complete comprehensive solution for your project.

As the Enterprise Project Manager, it appears your vendors are "leaving you in a hole" so to speak by not following your Pre-defined Project Specifications and Performance Criteria.

Sometimes an accounting hold on payments will get you the required solution very quickly.

Please Post Back With the Results of the Meeting.

Kindest Regards,
Rick P. ♥
