Any way to help me convert PDF format to word(.doc) on Mac
(6 posts)dont know how well it works on a mac but try..
I think that You will need an extra application like Adobe Acrobat. Converting PDF to Word is not so easy (on any OS). I tried this once on a Windows PC, but the result was so bad, that I gave up. I don't know how many documents You have and what You need them for. But sometimes it is just quicker to just copy the text from the PDF and to paste it in a word editor and to edit it there.
Also, you may try this tutorial about how to convert PDF files to Word on Mac. Once they're converted, you can open the files Microsoft Word or a compatible word processor.
Hope it can do you a favor.
Greetings
I am a former PC user x 20 years and now use the Mac 99% of the time. An application like Acrobat Professional has many features, one of which is EXPORT to with options being Word document. There are other applications that you can buy other than Acrobat and simply doing a search on Google such as "Convert PDFs to Word on OS X" will bring you to many sites. Given that I use Acrobat Pro (professional) so much, I have pretty much stuck with this app as my way to convert to Word documents.
give this a try and see if it works. Not a mac user

Why not use an on-line converter. Then you need not install anything. I have used this one which works quite well and is the least hassle. http://convertpdftoword.net/
