Any idea how to Change Folder Options (File Types) in Win 7 Pro?

When I right click my computer and select properties>tools>folder options, there is no tab for "file types". Whatever changes MS made to Windows they made a mistake here. How can I get Outlook (XP) (which is v2002) to open email links in FireFox. It used to be (in XP) got to folder options, file types, find the type and change the program associated. I'm completely lost wit Win 7. Is it me or is it mostly "eye candy" and no great shakes for an OS? Any help, suggestions, etc, would be appreciated

Associate a File Type or Protocol with a Specific Program
