I'm going to be building my own computer soon, and I was wondering if my dvd/cd drive doesn't come with screws, which screws should I use to mount my disk drive in to the case? In the manual it said to use the screws that came with your DVD/CD. What if I don't have the screws? Which screws should I use to mount my drive?

Wait and see if they arrive or not.
I think they are 3mm ISO fine. But hang on for someone who may know for sure.

thanks for the advice. My parts have arrived and I opened my CD/DVD drive and it comes with 4 screws so I don't need to worry about it. Thanks!

A good meter is good :)
I still use the one I bought when I was 19.
Won't let anyone borrow it :)

I just have one more question. There are about 8 places to put the screws and my question is where should I put the 4 screws to ensure that the cd/dvd drive won't move? Thanks.

If NO Rails:
Insert and Align front panel of DVD flush with machine front in bay.
---
Insert screws and hand tighten.
---
Right Side Front Hole Top
Left Side Back Hole Top
Right Side Back Hole Bottom
Left Side Front Hole Bottom
---
Screw driver tighten [ snug ] in same sequence. Do NOT force or strip threads.
---
Attach Power and Data Cables.
