Another way to Install Win7 besides the DVD Rom?

My DVD Rom is broke on my laptop , I seen somewhere you can install Windows form a USB drive? Is that so and How do I find out how to do it?

hi Battygurl, Here is a ("How To") http://kmwoley.com/blog/?p=345 to make a USB drive an installation device but you will need the windows 7 installation DVD. So you will need your DVD drive. Hope this helps
