I feel a little frustrated with my Win7 performance. It seems like it lacks the speed it should/used to have not long ago.

Is there anything to Analysis & Optimization software?

Any input appreciated.

LM, you could also give CCleaner a try. http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Apart from CCleaner, we do not recommend those sort of programs. They can do more harm than good.

All is helpful.

Performance Center and CC. Can see a difference.

Thanks

Also another thing to look at is your startup programs. There are many that autostart but really not required because you can invoke them when required.

Open cmd and click 'run as administrator'

At the prompt type msconfig

Click the startup tab and see what is running and post a screenshot here.

Perhaps we can 'deter' the unneeded stuff to run for you.

CCleaner also will manage your startup files in it's Tools section. In the lower left you can "Save to text file" and copy and paste that here. It may be easier than a snapshot and we can work with that better, too.

I have the screen shot but don't seem to understand how to upload it.
