All of a sudden, my desktop will not recognize the SD Card when inserted

All of a sudden, my desktop will not recognize the SD Card when inserted. Has worked in the past, but did not work tonight. I have rebooted, but does not help. Any suggestions?

Try going into disk management and see if it has a drive letter assigned to it. If not rt click on the disk and a drive letter option will be available

OK, did that and got to Disk Management. What do I do then? Sorry, just a computer neophyte.

Do you see anything on the left side showing your Sd card? If so is there a drive letter assigned to it?

Nope. Just showed the (C): AND CDROM (E:) drives.

Check in Device Manager and see If there is a yellow exclamation point (!) or question mark (?) next to the device.

Have you tried a different SD card ? Or that card in another computer ?
