Just installed XP on my laptop which was running media center. Even though I formatted I still have this annoying "choose OS" screen during boot up that still shows media center. How can I get rid of this? Re-format? Help appreciated.

What versions are talking about?
If it's Windows XP Media Center and Windows Home/Pro and you no longer have Windows XP Media Center installed then you just have an old entry in your boot.ini file.
If those are the versions I can post back on how to remove the old entry.
