Well there are slighty faster Celerons, with 2,5 Ghz but I´m not sure how expensive they are and if it will be worth it. Maybe someone else knows more than me and will give you some advice. Matt

Jordan, taking a laptop apart is not for the faint hearted. Have you ever done this before?

No XD ... but I do have a reletive who is VERY talented when it comes to computers though :-)

Can you think of a better option rather than chaning the processor? And I cannot upgrade my RAM because I have 4GB on a 32bit O/S, I know what you are like with your RAM ;-D

yep i agree madmacs, the CPU is not upgradeable. you could change your hard drive to a bigger and faster one.
but thats as far as the upgrading goes, sorry.

There is one last option you have to speed it up - that's an SSD. But that will cost probably more than the PC is worth. But you can later install the SSD in any other system.
