Have a Printer connected through USB to Windows XP desktop. Want to connect a Windows 7 desktop on a wireless network to the printer on my XP machine. When I look for Network Computers and Devices on the Windows 7 machine, it will not map the XP desktop. Says need to contact administrator for permission. This is all part of a home network. My lap top which also runs Windows 7 (upgraded from Vista) can connect to the printer but my new desktop will not. What do I need to do so that my new Windows 7 machine can see and connect to my XP desktop? If I can get this resolved, I can install the pribter on my windows 7 machine. Thanks for any suggestions.
