Hello
Recently I Started a Project with an older computer with 128MB of ram System shows 120 MB, (8 MB for video)
I opened it up to find 2 dimms a 128 MB dimm and a 64 MB dimm
when I remove the 64MB and restart the computer It get a Video Error Message on the Monitor and the computer will not boot.
Is this 64MB Dimm like a Video Memory chip of some sort It is of simmular size as the or 128 chip but is Marked as 64MB
I ran Dos scandisk or check disk and it showed a memory mismatch but was fixed.
So my question or concern is this 64MB even needed with my New Ram to be installed this week.
The RAM is Labeled as PC100 128 MB and also PC100 64 MB
Plan is to install total of three 128 MB Dimms - 384MB total
THANK YOU WINDOWS 98 ROCKS =)
