I need to set up an ad hoc connection between my PC and laptop - I've completed the settings on my laptop, but on my PC, which also has a Vista OS, when I open the 'choose a connection option' in network & sharing there is no option for an ad hoc connection as there is on my laptop - Any ideas would be greatly appreciated - Thanks TraceD

TraceD, I have never setup an ad hoc network in Vista. There are some brief instructions if you search on "ad hoc" in Help and Support. I also found this nice article with screen shots that describes the process.
