I just upgraded my Win XP Pro laptop (Gateway NX570X) to Win 7 Pro. Installation was a snap with no problems. However, since I am using older programs (e.g. Office XP Pro (MS Office 2002) I've noticed that when trying to type into an active window (such as an email or a Word doc) the window will lose focus (and my typing goes into the ether). This is very annoying as I don't look at the screen as I type so I often don't realize my typing is not registering on the page. Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone have a solution? I really don't want to go out and shell out $$$$ if I don't have to. (I've been told to get the latest MS Office, but I think MS has more than enough money. Besides, it shouldn't matter which program version I'm running for a "focus" problem, should it?)
