ACPI Workaround in Vista?

Is there a way to get around the ACPI 2.0 Compliance when installing Vista?
My computer exceeds or meets all requirements except that when I run install, it halts and tells me to upgrade my BIOS to meet ACPI 2.0
This is annoying, and I am hoping that there is a way to get around this.
