Hey there. I'll start from the beginning > I'm in a pickle, recently I installed windows vista on my Acer 4230 notebook. It sucked so i wanted to go back to xp pro. I accidentally set the wrong partition on my hard drive as active so my computer wouldn't boot any more. I somehow erased the e recovery console hidden in the C drive so the only option was to take it back to arrow and have them re install xp pro. (it wouldn't even let me re install windows). So now my computers up and running again, faster than before, but there are some problems: All my empowering technology stuff doesn't work properly, acer orbicam is missing, launch manager is missing and a few other minor things. I downloaded the drivers for empowering tech and orbicam but still problemos.
I am wondering is there a solution eg- disc/s that i can obtain from Acer or wherever that will put my computer back, re install everything that it ORIGINALLY came with when i purchased my machine and turned it on for the first time? If not is there any other solution that yee know of ? Any help would be awesome THANKS Kurt

It appears you can get drivers for that model at http://support.acer-euro.com/d....._4230.html
As for a recovery disc you will have to call Acer to find out if you can get one.
