Hello. I hope that you guys can help me with a problem. I just purchased an Acer Aspire One laptop and I tried to create the Factory Default Restore disk utilizing the Acer eRecovery program. The disk writes 100%, but the verification portion of the process fails at 19% for DVD and 35% for CD-RW. I get an error code of 0x9411 for DVD and an error code of 0x9410 for CD-RW. Any ideas what the deal is here?
Thanks.

You should use a DVD-R (not R/W). You need 2 of those.

Yeah, I was using the DVD-R. It gave me an error code of 0x9411 during the disk verification process. I tried using the CD-RW to see if that would make a difference and it gave me the code of 0x9410. What the heck?

Well, I posted that because I had seen reports of people having problems with RW DVDs. But maybe that is not a very common problem.

Is there another way that I can make a 'RESTORE' disk besides using eRecovery? Every once in a while I like to re-do my computer from a fresh start to get rid of some 'cling-ons'. Anyone have any ideas?
