What do you do when your boyfriend breaks up with you and leaves you with a server that you have no clue as to how to log into? It's a VA Linux 2100 series. I'm looking to retrieve my MP3's, pictures, and word documents. I can hook a monitor and keyboard up to it but then I'm lost.

Right. Once you have the monitor and keyboard, turn it on. You will then need to login. If you can't login, then Google for a Hiren's Boot CD. This has many utilites.
