HTG has a new forum for people requiring help with Assistive Technology.

It can be found

HERE

but the link is also featured in the main forum menu.

It is a place to find solutions and swap/share ideas to enable members with disabilities to find an answer quickly. Any information regarding new technologies available, please don't hesitate to post.

Nice idea Mike. I am vision impaired (about 60%) and use a few tricks so that I can read what's on the screen. Will be glad to share those.

hi whs,

if you don't mind me asking what kind of impairment do you have? may suggest this website: http://www.aisquared.com/ it's a very good program but it is a paid software i will try to round up a few freebies in a few days.

I have Macula degeneration. I can still manage with the on-board tools. But I have to set the browser and the DPI to 125 or 150. I use a 22" screen and on my laptop I use a HD screen.

Please note folks, that this is just an introductory thread to the forum itself. Can you please post responses there, because this one will only be a sticky on the front page for a limited period, and will then be moved, or deleted. Thanks for your cooperation.
