can we repair the bad sectors in hard disk

In Vista,

My Computer>right click on your main drive, (usually C:)>Properties>Tools>Error Checking>Check Now>tick both options. You'll probably be warned that this scan will run at the next reboot. It may take a while so be patient.

There are other ways, lets try this one first.
