Yesterday my computer suddenly started lagging unforgivably, so I opened Task Manager. Under the "Processes" (which opened after minutes of lagging) tab I saw about 50 (didn't count them) rundll32.exe lined up. Each was a little bit different from the last in size, however, everyone looked like this:

Image Name | User Name|Memory (Private Working Set)| Description
rundll32.exe | Anton | ---- K | Windows host process (Rundll32)

I searched for "rundll32.exe in ALL folders and took all of the files and put them in the Recycle Bin.
Are these files neccesary?

some applications require rundll files, look here at the geeks article on rundll files.
i suggest you do a full update and scan with your anti-virus AND anti-spyware, if you dont have anti-spyware, id suggest you get free spyware removal software like Super anti-spyware, or malwarebytes, do a full update (after installation) and deep/full scan.

some infections disguise themselves as rundll files.
