Hello,

I am a newbie. I wonder if I could input a second graphic card on a Compaq AMD Athlon II,...? where in the specs they give that notice :

NOTE:*Either integrated graphics or the PCI Express x16 slot are usable at one time; they are not usable concurrently.

My goal is to connect a second monitor on that computer.

And also, i wonder if I would need to change what they call PSU powering ?

Thanks in advance,

On most system, if you add an expansion graphics card, the integrated graphics is disabled so you can not use it. If you wish to add a second monitor, you can add a PCI Express graphics card that have multiple output ports and use any two of them. Also check the power (wattage) requirement of the graphics card, your current power supply unit (PSU) must satisfy the requirement of the card. If not you will have to upgrade your current PSU.
