I have a couple of issues with XP right now and I have no idea on how to fix them.

1. Whenever I open my computer and try to look at my drives a searchlight keeps on moving around and it never finds my folders. Ive already done the tip where I have to un-check automatically look for folders but still no results.

2. When ever i look in folders to open images all images load slow and not to full resolution in the thumbnail. They always show up really small and pixelated and all folders that I try to open them with load slow as well.

Can anyone help me with these issues??

For a test

Open the start menu > all programs > windows explorer.

Is it still slow

Could be a hard drive issue.

well now I no longer have that issue with exploring my computer but now it's only my pictures that dont show up right. And it's only the thumbnails and nothing else.

What is your system configuration... specifically memory (RAM)? In addition, what antivirus software are you running?
