I'm going to build a computer but I am wondering if muskin ddr2 4gb 800 will work with my asus p45 board that supports ddr2 1066. Will the 800 work with the asus board?

thanks

It should work. But it will slow your motherboard down since your hardware runs as fast as the slowest speed supported.

On AsusTech they do not mention DDR2 800. But read for yourself. Maybe I overlooked something.
