2 Video Folders

In my personal folder i currently have 2 video folders showing when i should only have 1.

They have exactly the same files in each, but if delete the second folder both disappear.

The second folder doesn't seem to be taking up anymore space but it is annoying me.

I think you may find that one of them is just a link folder.
It doesn't actually have anything in it, but if you click on it, you are taken to the proper video folder.
If you set in folder options to not show hidden folders, you may find it disappears

I have 'do not show hidden files and folders' already turned on.

I agree that it may be some kind of shortcut, but i can't get rid of it without deleting the other.

Are they both called exactly "Video" look closely (ie Video, Videos)

Yeah they are both called videos, both contain the same files, both are the same size and if i put a file in one it shows in the other,

Create a new folder called something that is NOT Video (preferably on an external disk)
Move all your video files to that folder
Delete the 2 video folders
Do a reboot
Tell me what happens

You can now rename that folder Video if you like

I've noticed this problem can happen if you set two known folders like "Pictures" and "Videos" to the same location.
Windows will display an entry for each known folder even if the known folders point to the exact same place.
A little annoying for me as I like to keep my Pictures and Videos in the same location. It's more convenient when one has a camera that takes both Pictures and Videos.
It's a little late now but if this happens again you can use the program Known Folders Browser to set the locations of any known folder that isn't fixed (Fixed is folders like C:\Windows or C:\Users) to the correct location.
You may still want to use it though to tell Windows the correct location of the videos folder.
Windows will give any program that asks for the defined Videos folder what you set for it and those programs may default to it.

I just thought of a couple things to add:
If you redirect a folder to a different location and also create a normal folder in the user folder you will get two entries also.
Example:
Videos (Exists in C:\Users\[UserName])
Videos (Exists in other place like D:\extrastuff)

You need to turn on details view and look at the "Folder Path" column to see where the path is.
If they are the same it's probably the issue I listed above and Known Folders Browser or a registry edit/relogin is needed to resolve it.
This problem can happen if you have a program that doesn't behave right and just always uses a fixed path to get a folder.
