Did you see this link. I wonder whether it works. Especially the last step (just copying the files over) seems too simple. And I also don't know how one gets additional programs that are downloaded later on the stick. I tried this with my Fedora on a stick, but could not figure it out. Maybe one has to make ISO files and slipstream those with the W7 ISO and reload the stick. That's going to be fun.
