Hi there,

I just recently reinstalled my Vista Ultimate on my HP dv2000 laptop. I have updated with service pack 1 and other updates from microsoft.

However, there is a crash window prompt every time I close the applications after finished using them. E.g., when I close MS Word/PowerPoint, the error window will come up "Word has stopped workinge", and the following statement will follow: Windows can check online for a solution to the problem.

The most recent error message is: "Symantec User Session has stopped working". This happens when I sync my Outlook email with my email server. And here's the following error details:
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: ccApp.exe
Application Version: 106.2.0.21
Application Timestamp: 45a467ef
Fault Module Name: mlang.dll_unloaded

Can someone please help on this? Many thanks in advance.

Ash, the problem report you have included is for a Symantec product, probably an anti-virus suite. Which Symantec or Norton software are you running? The file ccApp.exe is part of many Symantec products -- it stands for Common Client Application. The solutions that Symantec gives are:

1) Try updating with LiveUpdate
2) Uninstall all Symantec products with the removal tool.

See the following for further instructions:
