<description>&#60;p&#62;What software did you use to write to the disc?  If the software did not &#34;close&#34; the disc, to prevent further writing, there could be several sessions of data.  If Ubuntu wrote one of those sessions, Vista might be confused by it.  Can you read the data in Ubuntu?

<description>&#60;p&#62;hi. i saved some important pics and vid clips in one dvd recordable a few weeks ago. it was perfectly fine then and i can open all my files using vista. some days ago, i tried it in ubuntu and i think i clicked on unfamiliar commands. when i inserted it in my vista agian, it says the dvd is empty but the free space is down to 1G only. i tried downloading free versions of cdroller and it was able to identify my files and its readable.but i cant save it unless i purchase the software. is there a free software that i can use to save/retieve all that 3G files? I badly need HELP!! thanks so much.
