Try this: Right click on desktop >Properties>Settings>Advanced>Adapter>Properties>Driver Then go Update Driver>Yes this time only>Next>Install the software automatically. Reboot and see if that helps.
Then go here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/products/download.html?product=firefox-3.0.1&os=win&lang=en-US
Download and install firefox. That way it lets you know when you are typing like a retarded baboon by adding lots of big red lines under all your words.

johnboyuk40,

Try Re-installing your Video Card Driver.
Then go through (ALL) your card set-up settings by the Monitor and Video Card Documentations.
**** Out of Range Error Refers to the Screen Refresh Rate.
Also, there might be a CD which comes with that Display that has an Info File on it which must be installed.
What Display is Device Manager showing in Display Adapters ?? - Default or LG
Post Back.
Kindest Regards,
Rick P. ♥ :)

r-click on desktop, click on personalize
move to appearance tab (cant quite remember, whichever one has resolution) and then change the resolution to something with 'larger numbers'

Hope this works, and sorry is was so vague - haven't used XP in a while!
