So through this forum only i got to know about vista codecs and i installed it. the problems reduced but were not completely eliminated. then i came to know about CCleaner and i ran it to remove unused registries and stuff. I use it myself without any problems.<br /> Did you do any registry backups when you ran CCleaner? If you did, you could try merging them back in<br /> and see if that helps.
