It's a new computer (previous one ran Windows 98 and no internet) so I'm still testing things out. It works the basic way in IE as well. On a normal commercial site you'd think they would have more sense - I might even have bought something if it hadn't been for that, now the site is on my blacklist.</p> <p>Anyway, for what it's worth I no longer have a problen with Working Lunch. I can now watch the programme, unfortunately I haven't a clue what I have done so I can't report on it. Yesterday it just started working. A Sunday, could that have anything to do with it? I have Firefox set up to open links in new tabs and not in a seperate window.</p> <p>I then tried it in Internet Explorer. It opened the link in a new window and and again asked me to choose my player preferences. I did the same as before and it worked the same as before. Are you using the Real Player option by any chance? I'm afraid I couldn't test that because I can't stand Real Player and don't have it installed.</p> <p>Anyway, the video player window/tab wasn't blocked as a pop-up in either browser for me. So I tried to watch it but my computer objected helfully telling me that it had stopped a popup (the actual broadcast).</p> <p>Now normally when it does this it provides to option to see the popup (if you care to risk it) but not in this case. Instead it usefully says that the popup can be supressed by pressing 'control'.</p> <p>However even this isn't consistant I can sometimes watch extracts (which are seperate from the full programme).</p> <p>And there's more. When I can get it working (not often) there is an option to watch in full screen (as opposed to the tiny screen sitting in the corner of the screen). Occasionally this works at other times nothing happenes, or the screen goes white with the broadcast still in the tiny screen, or I lose the broadcast entirely.</p> <p>Now I imagine that all of the latter is the BBC not my computer but the popup problem is extremely frustrating and would be grateful for a solution. </p>
