well, actually i just updated from 7.5 to 7.7.1, but I've been having this problem for months before that. Also, I looked at the apple forum link and most people seemed to be having issues getting their iPod to sync or be recognized. I've had no problems whatsoever with iTunes. The only problem is that I forget to unplug my iPod before putting my computer on sleep, and I want to see if there's a way to keep Windows from crashing when it goes to sleep with my iPod plugged in.

I actually did that right after I wrote the last topic, came back 3 hours later, and voila! no BSOD.

Now that we know the problem, is there any way for me to keep my iPod plugged in and still not get a BSOD?

can you try unplugging the iPod before going into sleep, and see if this issue still happens?

Yep, I have an iPod Touch attached, and I usually leave it plugged into the usb port to charge.

Hi guys, don't know if this has been asked before but a basic search didn't show anything. Anyway:

Almost always whenever I put my computer on sleep for too long (more than 20 minutes), my computer will usually crash and display a BSOD. This time, irritated by it, I wrote down the crucial information and was wondering if someone could interpret it for me. Thanks in advance!
