<description>&#60;p&#62;Can anyone recommend a place to go to check the services that are running in WinXP (SP3) to make sure that they are really needed or necessary for a users specific configuration?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The reason that I ask is that I just spent 20 minutes going through my services console and using Google to look up some items that I didn't recognize. I was thinking that there must be a one stop place to go (that doesn't want you to run a &#34;free system scan&#34;, or perhaps even a program that can make the process easier.&#60;br /&#62;
Anyone have any suggestions?&#60;/p&#62;
