Hi. I have an HP Pavillion Desktop PC. I wanted to start fresh by reinstalling windows. I have windows XP on it. However, During installing windows XP from the net from a cd I burned, Something messed up (believe it was some type of virus i downloaded with that windows xp version even though i scanned it for viruses).
I tried to fix this error by running an Acer model windows Vista Recovery CD (from my other new ACER PC) on my older HP PC with XP. I don't believe my HP computer came with a Recovery disc. After doing this, it failed and I got message "BOOTMGR is missing press CTRL + ALT + DEL to restart. This error message just keeps looping and everything i tried to fix my computer from the internet failed. Trying to recover XP with VISTA is not something I'm farmiliar with. Any help would be greatful.
I would just like to Reinstall Windows XP from Clean Drives with nothing on them. I have 2 Drives. C and D.
