jd2066 Thanks for your response. The new data file was located where you said it would be. I am sure I could have found it withing the next year or two. However, when I replaced the new data file with the old one I was no longer able to access the data. I got an "Oops ...." I had seen this same situation posted by another person.

I chose to uninstall the program and then install it again. During this process I realized that I had overlooked the ability to place the data file into a folder of my own choosing. By placing the data file into a folder outside of the 'Program Files' folder I found that my problem was solved and all is okay. Thanks again.

If you have a path like C:\Program Files\Creatacard the writes would end up being rederected to C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Creatacard.

I installed Creatacard 3 on my new HP Pavilion running Vista Home Premium. I then copied and transferred the Data folder to the new computer in the Creatacard folder that is located in the Program Files folder. The program works fine, but it does not recognize the address book data file. If I enter new data manually it is stored in a new file somewhere on the hard drive, but I can't find it. It seems Vista does not like data files in the Program Files folder. I have tried to search for the new data file without success. Can anyone tell me how to place the old data file so that the program will recognize it and I don't have to re-enter it all manually?

Thanks
