<description>&#60;p&#62;If your manufacturer doesn't provide drivers, you are in for a world of hurt. You might be able to get some of the drivers from the component manufacturers, for instance if you have an intel network card they might have a driver for XP.&#60;/p&#62;

<description>&#60;p&#62;Most, if not all, new PCs and Laptops now come with Vista pre-installed. My new PC did so too. I tried to remove Vista and install XP but discovered that the hardware drivers were not compatible with XP. Since I had no Driver CD provided with the machine, I tried to contact the manufacturers for the drivers. I was told that these new Pcs can only take Vista, not XP. Is this a fact? What if I want to get a new Laptop with the intention of installing Windows XP? Is there a solution?
