That would tell you that the staff threw the power switch when they didn't need to. A freeze caused by an application or system error should be logged in the Event Viewer as well, which also might help you get to the bottom of what it is that is causing the freeze.</p> <p>For uptime, the Task Manager in Vista on the Performance tab has this number.
