Hi there,

I have a question for you guys. Hope you can help. I tried everything and nothing worked.

I have three sound devices on my computer with Vista. HDMI, Speakers and SPDIF.

Here's my specific question. Is there a way to assign a specific audio device to a specific program?

Wanna know why? Sure... It's because I always use my Vista Media Center using my SPDIF connection and the rest through Speakers. EVERY time I run Vista Media Center first I have to change the default device and then open VMC. Afterwards I change it back... Such a pain...

We can even change the device from within VMC but what the software does is change the default device. :/

Some GOOD programs do the trick and automatically redirect their sound to a specific device (KMPlayer, Media Player Classic, ...) but VMC doesn't and I really need to use Vista MEdia Center.

Hope you can help me...

Best wishes,
Flavio
