If and when you are able to, it should not effect your recovery partition (if done right I assume).

You aren't legally allowed to put Mac OS X on non-apple hardware and I think it contains protection software to prevent that. You would need a crack to allow it to work on non-apple hardware and chat about cracks isn't allowed so nothing can be said about how to get one not to mention it would be illegal and possibly unstable.

Edit: At least this is how I understand it. I'm not 100% sure about it being illegal.

No, but that's why I want to know, I want to get one but it'd be a waste of my money to buy it and then get a mighty trouble and having a lot of problems on running it, there are videos on youtube of people installing leopard on PC's what I'm really unsurea about is the partitions management and if I'd loose any (specially the recovery one) in the process -since I've never done this I'm really scared I might mess it up =( -

I don't think Leopard can run on Windows, though if you owned an Apple there are programs that would allow you to dual boot. Do you have a copy of OSX available?

Well, Im recently thinking of double booting vista and leopard however I'd like to know what are the pro's and con's of it.

My computer is an HP Pavillion a6300fPC, Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor E2180, 2GB ram, and 500GB Hard Drive (right now 231 GB free)

I've also read is necessary to make another partition for it... wich I have NO idea how to do and I want to make sure I get to keep my recovery partition in case something happened to my vista OS (my recovery partition is actually the only way I can get a clean install of my Vista OS and drivers in case something really wrong happens so I'd like to keep it safe since my package had no CD's or anything else.)

Soooo... any help?
