<description>&#60;p&#62;It's a little-known fact that DNS servers across the globe, especially the root servers, are under attack 24x7x365.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;There's a large number of hackers that would like to take down all of the root servers, which would take down the entire internet if they could manage it. Thankfully it's not that simple, as the root servers are massively scaled and can handle the problem.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Last month Comcast had their DNS entries altered somehow, big problem for a day.
