I then made it so they are closer by setting the icon spacing (personalise&gt;window color and appearance&gt;open classic appearance properties for more color options&gt;advanced) to them being closer (horizontal 41 and vertical 14 is the closest i could get so the gaps are equal and the icons don't overlap.</p> <p>The only problem with this is it affects the icon spacing in other folders where the view is set to icons. Can anyone help me arrange the desktop with a tighter grid without affecting all the other folders on my computer.</p> <p>I hope this makes sense and thank you for reading and any help. </p>
