If you're trying to play wmv files on your mac, you need to install the WMV Components for Quicktime (Flip4Mac) - which can be found here:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/wmcomponents.mspx

They're free, and once installed you can watch .wmv from within Quicktime.

Actually I believe xp is within the mac leopard os. Am not using boot camp, though it is on sys. From what I see my Win Office is a Mac version.
also have QT on here, but have deleted two other pgms that were supposed to work one was a Win pgm, win media player, other some 3rd party.
Stumped here, all should have worked.

Can you explain that a bit more clearly? You're trying to install software on your Mac Mini, in Windows (are you dual-booting via BootCamp or using something like Parallels to run XP inside of OS X?) but having trouble installing the Windows software?
