It says the original error message was, low on virtual memory. But it's only happening with occasional video files not all. My ram level looks good, not low at all. Most video runs ok. Here you will see a list of all the processes (applications or parts thereof) that are running on your system. You will see the memory usage here, but in my experience this very rarely has anything to do with problems running low on virtual memory.<br /> Click View, Select Columns.Check the Virtual Memory Size box,Now you have a VM Size column in your Processes tab. Your new system with 3 GB of RAM should not run out of memory just playing an online video. You might have a runaway task when you see that message "low on virtual memory". Here's what I suggest. Keep an eye on your memory usage on the new system for a while. There is a sidebar gadget, if you are using the sidebar, that will show CPU and memory usage. Load that up and keep an eye on memory. Also, you can launch Task Manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc), click the Performance tab and see what it says for memory usage.</p> <p>Do follow Lighthouse's instructions and check to see how your virtual memory is set. Unless you have good reason not to, it should be on "system managed".</p> <p>Write back with your virtual memory settings, current memory usage, and memory usage when playing this video.
