As I suspected - that Mozilla stuff is indigestable. Can't even make a good dinner with it.

LH, don't know what MR Tech can do for you and yours, but the link to the extension is above. Here is the home page of Local Install, http://www.mrtech.com/extensions/local_install/index.html

Actually it does seem to have something to do with about:kitchensick support in Firefox.
I just did a test. Without it Firefox shows an invalid url error.
When I install it about:kitchensink works just fine and when I uninstall the extension it stops working again.

MR Tech may be one of the most important extensions to date. It offers an incredible amount of functionality, Mel Reyes is truly a genius. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/421

(nothing to do with kitchensink, btw)

You can read more about it at http://everything2.com/index.pl?node=about%3Akitchensink
I think it's only in the Mozilla Suite and some extensions like MR Tech Local Install add it to Firefox.
You can still check out the page by going to http://www.mozilla.org/docs/web-developer/samples/kitchensink.xml

For those with Firefox, type in about:kitchensink. Someone, while talented, needs to get out of the house a bit more often.
